Haryana tourism is going to host 7th Pinjore heritage festival 2012 at Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore, from December 15 – 16, 2012. Pinjore heritage festival 2012 is organized to celebrate the centuries old heritage of the town and its gardens. Pinjore heritage festival 2012 is being organised with the support of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Jammu & Kashmir Tourism is also participating and will rustle up an array of Kashmiri and Dogri dishes.

Pinjore heritage festival 2012 is going to be arranged at Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore from 15th to 16th December 2012. It remains open from 11 am to 10 pm on both the days.

How to reach Pinjore heritage festival 2012: Haryana roadways have made special arrangements for plying of buses from Chandigarh-Panchkula-Pinjore and back at short intervals. To reach Pinjore following modes of transportation can be used also.
- Pinjore by air the nearest airport to reach Pinjore is Domestic Airport of Chandigarh. From the airport, you can hire a taxi which is easily available outside the Arrival Terminal to Pinjore.
- Pinjore by road to reach Pinjore by road through your own vehicle leave Delhi via Sonepat Bypass and take the G.T. Road (National Highway No.1) Northwards towards Chandigarh after the drive of approx 35 to 40 minutes you will reach Zirakpur take a right on the red light towards Panchkula / Shimla. You can also take the Bus Services from Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT), New Delhi to Chandigarh and vice versa.
- Pinjore by rail just takes the train to Chandigarh from your nearest railway station and from Chandigarh hire the taxi or any other mode of road transport to reach Pinjore.

The main attraction of the event will be the street bazaar (Anarkali bazaar) which reminds us the Mughal times where craftsmen would display their unique handlooms and handicrafts. You can enjoy the delicious food and many other activities as street bazaar of the Mughal times is also created with shops and cluster of stalls, tented pavilion, and food plaza and performance stage.

16th December, Sunday: You can enjoy the Swar-ragini recital by Pt. Subhash Gosh, Awadhi folk and Sufiana performance by Malini Awasthi.
- Painting competition: 10 a.m.
- Folk dance competition: 10.15 a.m.
- Heritage Walk by senior Citizens: 11:00 a.m.
