Have a brief look at the Economy of Madhya Pradesh.
GDP of Madhya Pradesh(2000 Reports): - Rs. 737,150 million
Percentage Share of various sectors in economy:-
•Agriculture - 46%
•Industrial Sector - 26%
•Forest Products, Textile etc. share the rest.
Following materials come in the category of forest products - wood for fuels, furniture and housing like teak, bamboo, sal etc. and Medicinal Herbs.
Another interesting fact about Madhya Pradesh is that it is Second largest producer of Cement in India. It takes the credit of producing 13% of the total.
Madhya Pradesh is a rich source of minerals, and definitely the richest in India. I am listing here a few of them:-
• Coal and Iron Ore – Dury, Jabalpur, Gwalior
• Bauxite – Katni
• Manganese – Chhindwara, Balaghat
• Panna – Diamond
• Artificial Silk – Ujjain, Indore and Gwalior
Other mineral resources which are economically viable are Dolomite, Limestone and Copper.
Indore is also a Software Technology park. It is progressing as an IT sector in a very fast rate. It is known for its fast developing telecommunication and software industries.
Major Food crops of Madhya Pradesh
In MP, the major crops grown are Jowar, Wheat, Rice and Gram. Also, Madhya Pradesh is the largest producer of Pulses in India. It accounts for 20% of the total country's produce.
In MP the main livelihood of people is Agriculture and 80% of the people practice agriculture. And thus, about 46% of the state's share of economy is of Agriculture. After, 2004-05, this sector in the state has improved even more. However, the Handicrafts also prevails in a large scale.

A as you have listed some minerals/resources and their existence place like Coal where you have mentioned Dury, Jabalpur, Gwalior.
Varid first of all I would like to update you the above all paces does not have coal resource and in Madhya Pradesh only Umaria, Shahdol, Anupur Sidhi and Singrauli district have the enough coal resource and South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Bilaspur and Northern Coalfields Limited, Singrauli are excavating the coal from their various underground as well as opencast mines.
