Following is the painting experience and career of Bulu Imam

Expertise in Painting

When Bulu was young, and then he got an interest in painting, doing some art work. In Holy Cross, he also taught painting to the children. He worked as the head of the fine arts in the vocation training institute between 1979 and 1985. His paintings got recognition in many places in the world. In the church of Khalari, a big oil painting of Bulu, is still hanging over there. Afterwards, this passion of his got even bigger and better. He felt somewhere than the women of the villages have very good art hidden in them but they are not able to market their art and talents. So, he dedicated himself in improving their condition and let their talents be recognized.

Painting Exhibitions

1. 1961 –Kolkata, about fine arts
2. 1962 – Oil India Fine Arts and Craft Society, New Delhi
3. 1960 to 1980 – As a professional painter, organized many exhibitions
4. 1986 – Took part as the member of Old Xaverian Association HOXA in World Congress of France

Books on Painting

He has written books like the Post Graduate Art Manual Course for Beginners, during 1982 and with Dr. M S Randhawa, Short History of Indian Arts.
