4. A demand of about fourty four lakh metric tonnes of edibles is here. There is a production of only twenty lakh tonnes. About six lakh metric tonnes we get from the central government for the APL and the BPL. And as a result a not less than eighteen lakh of edibles is remained in scarcity and the demand is not fulfilled.

6. 2817 lakh cubic metres of water this state gets from the nature itself. However, only 6104 cubic metres (and not 6104 lakh cubic metres) of water is conserved and as a result that means that not less than 80 percent of water is being wasted.

7. On the peak power about one thousand megawatts of electricity in this state is needed. Only about 300-350 megawatts of electricity is produced in this state and the state still buys electricity of about Rs. 1200-1500 crores and within so many years not even one new power plant has been installed.

8. About thirty percent of the country's minerals is present in Jharkhand but still, we are not able to install industries and flourish them in the state which we popularly call as Jharkhand.

9. 32144 small and medium industries are present. Out of 32,664 industries, about thirteen thousand industries have been idle.

10. In Uttarakhand and in Chattigarh, eighty three and sixty six percent of the rural people are made available the drinking water, respectively, but then in Jharkhand only about thirty five percent of rural people get this facility.

11. Only in twenty six percent of villages in Jharkhand, roads are available. The National and state highways are present also only in a length about 1859 and 1886 kilometres.

12. About 3 new universities have been made but then they severely lack what we call as infrastructure.

13. Even after several months of the budget being passed, the sum does not reach the districts as they should.
