The diversion trauma - The Kuju Diversion Problems

The ranchi road diversion has become a hell of a problem for the people as well as transporting agencies. The dust and around that area is so oppressive that those 5 minutes in the diversion route really wear you down.Plus there are other shocking problems too.

The Ranchi road diversion which is in process still due to lack of interest of the government,to be exact the chief minister,Shibu Soren. The diversion which was to be completed by a couple of months after that road fire episode is still om its way to be a complete road. The diversion is really irritating for the regular users of that road, even people who rarely travel by this road are frustrated.

There four ways through which you can pass that diversion. But the problem is that all the four roads are extremely congested. There are long queue of vehicles especially trucks. There is always a risk that the vehicle in front of may roll down the slope and crash against your car and if the vehicle in front is a heavy one then casualties will surely be there.

I'd say the government is pretty lucky that there have been no major accidents and are still safe from media scrutiny. A new shocking that has become prevalent is the money collection by the villagers from drivers especially truck drivers.Truck drivers who are extremely poor are forced to pay money. The villagers take thick sticks and anyone who doesn't pay is given some good shots(believe me).

The funny thing is this is done in succession ,groups of villagers at fair distance from each other keep asking the money even though he has paid alresdy to another group. This is done not only by men but women can also be seen holding thick logs of wood and collecting money. Really women are walking along with men but all for the wrong reasons. This will continue till a proper road is not prepared. So, the media should put more stress on it. But we are helpless to a certain extent.

We can just hope and pray
