Lal Bagh in Bangalore:

Each and every person who visits Bangalore must see Lal Bagh. Meaning for the name Lal Bagh is ‘a paradise for blossoming red roses', Lal means Red and Bagh means garden. This was constructed by Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan in 18th century. This beautiful botanical garden is accumulated around 240 acre land. The most popular Flower show is held yearly twice, that is in January and August. At this time there will be verity of colorful flowers for display. Though the visitors in around Bangalore are regular, but the tourist flow is Maximum during flower show time.

Vidhana Soudha in Bangalore:

This elegant four-storied edifice was constructed in the year 1954 and this building is the Legislative Assembly Chambers of the Karnataka state government. It houses twenty two departments and three hundred rooms. The lighting up of Vidhana Soudha is usually on every Sunday evening which holds the attractive charm among its visitors.

Cubbon Park in Bangalore:

Cubbon Park is a very excellent tourist spot which a tourist should not miss out. The park was constructed by Lord Cubbon in 1864. It is situated about 300 acres which is filled by the beautiful green patches and blossoming, colorful flowers. It is the suitable place for relaxation. The Cheshire Dyer Memorial Hall, Ottawa Chatter, Museum, Century Club and the Press Club are also here for visitors view.

Bangalore Palace:

Bangalore Palace is located in the heart of the city, built in 1887 following the Tudor style of architecture. The palace is covered an area of 800 acres. There is a beautiful garden to see here.

Venkatappa Art Gallery in Bangalore:

Venkatappa art gallery is a place giving visual treat for art lovers. The display here is for through out the year. There are about 600 paintings including some exclusive collections.

Tipu's Palace in Bangalore:

The palace and the fort of Tipu Sultan are the historical places, which was the summer residence of Tipu Sultan.The palace is in ethnic Mughal lifestyle and the architecture followed is Islamic style. This palace was first constructed by Haider Ali and later completed by Tipu Sultan.

ISKCON Temple in Bangalore:

ISKCON Temple is one of the best tourist attractions in Bangalore. ISKCON refers, International Society for Krishna Consciousness. This temple was founded by Srila Prabhupada in the year 1966. Temple was constructed in the fusion of Dravidian and modern architecture. This temple also has facilities like multi-vision cinema theatre, Vedic library and preaching library for ISKON devotees. The accommodation facility is available here for Krishna devotees.

Shiva temple in Bangalore:

The famous shiva temple is in old airport road,the height of Giant Shiva Statue is about 65 ft. The statue is in sitting posture on the Mount called Kailash with flowing river Ganga in the hard rocks. The beauty of this statue is enhanced with lighting in the night time.

Bull temple in Bangalore:

We are familiar that a holy bull called Nandi is the vehicle for Lord Shiva. The Nandi temple is located in Basavangudi, Bangalore which was built by Kempe Gowda in 16th century. The Bull Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva's vehicle what we call Vahana in Kannada. The giant Nandi Bull is about 4.5m tall and 6m long is carved out a single piece of granite rock. It is believed that the river Vishva Bharti originates at the feet of this Nandi Bull statue. This giant Nandi Bull attracts the tourist crowd to this place.

Aquarium in Bangalore:

This is the second largest Aquarium in the country located in Kasturba Gandhi road, Bangalore. This is a Diamond shaped complex, which has an excellent collection of aquatic organisms. The fish restaurant and fresh fish stalls located here is very popular among the tourists.

Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in Bangalore:

Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium situated in Sankey Road is a fascinating place for tourist especially school going children. This planetarium was built in 1989. The aim to construct this place is to know about astronomy and make awareness about space. This planetarium can accumulate 225 people at a time. The daily shows here give some knowledge on astronomy and amazing experience to the visitors.

Sri Gavi Gangadhareswara Temple in Bangalore:

The temple is very popular among tourists due to its strange occurrence. Every year on middle January 14th or 15th Makara Sankranthi day, a single ray of sunlight passes through the horns of the stone bull located outside the temple and illuminates the deity of Shiva Ling which is placed inside a cave.

Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum in Bangalore:

It is situated on Kasturba Road, Bangalore, main tourist attraction of this museum is the mobile science exhibition that travels in the city whole year. The museum also has an Engine hall, Electronic Technology Gallery, the famous Science Gallery and Childrens' amazing Science Gallery.

Bal Bhavan in Bangalore:

Jawahar Balabhavan is very famous among the children. It has fascinating attractions like pony ride and toy train which gives fun and amusement experiences to the kids. Timings of Toy Train are on Sundays 9.30 am to 6.00 pm. Mondays and second Tuesdays are holidays.
