How to get Namma Metro Travel Card

CM Sadananda Gowda launched the Namma Metro Travel Card and made it available for citizens. We will be looking forward for the official launch of Namma Metro when PM Manmohan Singh flags it off.

The Namma Metro Travel Card has been launched made available by Government to the Bengaluru citizens in various ways. The Namma Metro card has been launched with the expected launch of Namma Metro before Sept 25 or Diwali.

How Buy the Namma MEtro Travel Card:

  • Minimum Fare distance is Rs. 10 which is higher than Delhi Metro which is 8/-.

  • Ticketing systems and fares from Byappanahalli to MG Road will be in the form of contactless Smart Tokens. Groups Tickets, and Integrated Metro-Bus tickets.

  • Available at all Metro Stations at from 8am to 8pm.

  • To get you ticket online:

  • Buyer can log on to or for Namma Metro Travel Card.

  • User has to register on this site and furnish details:

  • Cards costs Rs, 100, 50 and Rs.50 are charge.

  • Every card has unique 11 digit number engraved on it. You can choose your own premium number and enjoy privileges over normal cards. It stolen and lost, the card can be blocked online.

  • Card will be dispatched to the address furnished within 7 working days.

  • Value can be added to the card at any Metro outlets, Airtel Outlets, SBI ATM, netbanking and BMRC Website.

  • Balance can be checked at the "Remaining Value Checking Terminal".
