In the Maharashtra , there are many forts and many historical places. Bhudargad Fort is one of them. Bhudargad is located in the Kolhapur District and near to the paal village. Distance from the Kolhapur to the Bhudargad is nearly 56 kilometers.

This fort is built in the 12 Centuary by the King Bhoj. The fort contains three temples that are Kedarling ,Bahiroba, Jakhubai . This place was holy in the ancient days. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj also visited to this fort. He visited in the 1677 and renew this fort.

Then after the Bhudargad Fort was owned by the Mugal authority. Best season to visit this fort is September to March. Attraction include in this fort are Dudhsagar Lake. Two Shiva Temples and a Bhairav Temple.

By Air
Nearset airport is Ujlaiwadi at a distance of 13 kilometers from the Kolhapur. The airport is well connected with almost major cities in India.

By Rail
The nearest railway staion is the Chhtarpati Shahu Maharaj Terminus in the Kolhapur. The Station is well connected with Mumbai, Pune, Tirupati, Bangalore and Ahmedabad through direct as well as daily trains.

By Road
Kolhapur is located at the distance around 395 kilometers from Mumbai and 225 kilometers from Pune.
