Procedure of Sending Telegraph Money Orders in Maharashtra:
1. You (the remitter) have to write on the prescribed Money Order form "By Telegraph Express" or "By Telegraph Ordinary".
Note: Do not use any code words or addresses in a short abbreviated format in the address of the payee.

2. The Telegraph Money Order (TMO) forms, along with the amount, the prescribed commission, the supplementary charge, the telegraph charge (and late fee, if relevant) must be submitted at the correct counter of the issuing Post Office.

3. In case you want a TMO to be redirected from the original Post Office of payment, by post to the payee, it will be done only if a written request is made. It is done free of charge.
