Varaimuthu's lyrics in Neer Paravai and the problem
The story of Neer Parabai was written by writer Jayamohan. This movie was directed by Seenu Ramaswamy. Already there is problem in this movie regarding censor certificate. Now a new problem of this movie was one of the lyrics used by Vairamuthu in this movie. The lyrics was given below.
"En uyirai arpanam seithen, un peyarai sosthiram seithen.
Sathyamum jeevanumai neeye nilaikirai "
The above verse is extracted from Bible and so the Christians pasted posters to show their offense against this lyrics. Already such case was booked against Tamil music director AR Rahman for using the word "Hosona" in the movie Vinnaithandi Varuvaya. The word Hosona is used to devote Christian God's and so they showed offense for this song.

Vairamuthu replied that he don't want to hurt anyone. He used this lyrics as it suits the movie theme. He says he doesn't used this lyrics to hurt Christianity feelings. The words used in this lyrics was presented in the way that it supports Christianity.
Now this lyrics were removed from the song it seem. Vairamuthu asked the movie crew members to remove the lyrics from this song. This lyrics will be available in cassettes as they were released earlier. This lyrics wont be available in the movie song.
