Film director, actor Manivannan (59) died from a heart attack in Chennai on June 15 2013 (Saturday). Manivannan has already had heart surgery a few years ago and had surgery on the spinal cord area. He was advised by his physicians to take rest for a week and not to go anywhere outside. He suddenly suffered from heart attack when he was in rest at his home located at Ramavaram. He died before reaching the hospital.
