Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for MCA admission 2013
The Anna University in Chennai conducted a common entrance exam for MCA degree admissions 2013 on 06th April, 2013, Saturday, 02.30 p.m. to 04.30 p.m. The TANCET was conducted in many places of Tamil Nadu by Anna University to admit the candidates for MCA degree course (2013 - 2016 Batch) in Government and Self Financing Engineering Colleges and also in Government and Self Financing Arts and Science Colleges. The admissions will be held on July every year by single window system. The students can select any colleges based on their own interest and the students will called for counselling based on their ranking in TANCET score in 2013. The common admission procedure will be followed during the counseling period which was given by the state government and Anna University, Chennai.

Session I : 8.30 AM to 9.00 AM - DAP candidates only
Session II : 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM - TANCET mark upto 29.5
Session III : 11.00 AM to 1.30 PM - TANCET mark upto 22.5
Session IV : 1.30 PM to 3.30 PM - TANCET mark upto 17
Session V : 3.30 PM to 4.30 PM - TANCET mark upto 0.5
Session VI : 4.30 PM to 5.30 PM - The rest of the candidates
