Surendranath College is one of the renowned college of Kolkata which is affiliated to Calcutta University. This college has been established in the year 1884, named after Surendranath Banerjee who was a famous freedom fighter and on of the eminent scholar.
This college is located very near to Sealdah Railway Station. the exact location of this College is 24/2 Mahatma Gandhi Road, Kolkata-700009.
In the College Campus there are two buildings, one is the Main building and the other one is the Science Building.

For Honors degree in B.Sc the candidates must have acquired 60% in aggregate and somewhat 60% in the relevant subject.
For Honors degree in Arts the candidates must have acquired 50% in the aggregate and around 50% in the relevant subject.
For Honors Degree in the B.Com, the candidate must have acquired 50% in the aggregate and 45% in Maths.
For general degree in B.Sc the candidates must get 45% in the aggregate, for general degree in B.Com the candidate must get 30% in the aggregate and for general degree in Arts the candidate must get 35% in the aggregate.
