Food subsidy for the poor people in Bengal


Mamata Banerjee has come up with a new initiative about the food grains. She is in a plan to distribute foor grains at Rs 2 per kg. She is providing enough of food subsidies and these are specially for the village areas. Read this article to know more about this plan of Mamata Banerjee.

Rice distribution in Bengal at Rs 2/kg



The chief minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee announced that she will be giving out rice at Rs 2/kg across the whole state. Chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that rice at Rs 2/kg in Bengal will be distributed among tribals with an annual income of less than Rs 42000.

For the others rice will be distributed to those people who have an annual income of less than 36000 per month. Earlier also there were plans like this but rice was given to only those persons who have an annual income of less than Rs 24000.
Mamata Banerjee took this important decision after meeting with state Finance Minister Amit Mitra, Chief Secretary Samar Ghosh and other senior officials.

Mamata Banerjee will also be arranging for a high-level meeting once a month to review the entire food scenario in the state.

Mamata Banerjee is bringing lots of Revaluations into the state, West Bengal. She is working out for the poor people, arranging for surveys and trying to do her best for the state. There are many other changes in the state, West Bengal taking place with the views of common people and for the welfare of the common people.
