Engineering entrance examination in the west Bengal polytechnics will be conducted by West Bengal Council of Technical Education. Previous poly 40 type is not available from this year. Poly 40 based on the marks in madhyamik examination but now every candidate should appear in JEXPO for enter in Diploma engineering course.
Eligibility for Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination 2012- JEXPO
10th pass student with subject Mathematics, English and science can apply for JEXPO examination. Candidates appearing in 2012 examination can also apply for JEXPO. All candidates applying should score minimum 35% marks in the above subjects.

JEXPO 2012 will be held as per the latest revised syllabus of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE). In last year polytechnic examination there was objective multiple questions with 100 marks allotted to Mathematics and 100 marks for Physics and chemistry. Application forms will be available from all polytechnics in West Bengal. Application form & Booklet fees is Rs 450/-.
Application form will available from 24.01.2012 to 23.02.2012.
You can also collect application with a late fee Rs 250/- extra from 27.02.2012 to 06.03.2012.
Last date of submission of application for JEXPO is 25.02.2012 and with late fees 07.03.2012.
Admit card will be issued from 25.04.2012 to 02.05.2012. You can also collect duplicate admit card by 27.04.2012.
