How I Enjoy Diwali - VELU S

My Experience with Diwali is Great from the very beginning ( From Child Wood ).
Diwali is very Special for me and my sisters. From our Child Wood we will be waiting for this Special Festival.Diwali starts one week early for us.

We will enjoy the way the eatables are prepared in advance. we will be helping my mother to prepare the same. Our father will take us out to get new clothes for us of our own choice. Lots of eatables will be prepared like muruku, Adharasam , Gala - Gala, etc.

Crackers will be a Surprise from my Father. He will not disclose what he has purchased. The day before the diwali we have a Festival called "Nombu". That day we offer the eatables and make some pooja for lordess Gori.

After the pooja, We will have a Special Lunch prepared and we will be very eager to play with Crackers.

Next Day is Diwali.
We Get up very early in the morning, take oil bath and wear the new Clothes and my father will give us the Gift Box of Crackers. It is a new world of Joy for us.
We will be very happy to break the crackers and as we become tired , we come back to have a Special Lunch. After a Break we again go out to break the creakers.

Evening will be a great time to display our new Clothes to neighbours. We take some sweets and eatables and distribute to all our neighbours.

Night will be very colorful in my house, With lots of Flower Pots, Bhoomi chakras and Suru- Suru Bathis.

We still enjoy all that and eagirely waiting for the Forthcoming Diwali.
