Billing Valley-International Paragliding Site in Himachal

Billing valley which is located in district kangra of Himachal Pradesh is the most famous paragliding and hang gliding site across the world. Billing valley is just about 14 km from Bir which came into existence as paragliding station in the year 1978. From then every year gliders across the world visit this place to participate in various events.

Biiling Valley became a famous paragliding site when Exvir Reymond from France took an amazing flight for 130.9 km. In the year 2008 Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal inaugurated Pre- World Cup Paragliding World Cup Competition in Billing Valley. In this completion Ajay Sharma who hails from Manali won this completion by surmounting 59 foreign gliders.
