Travel Guide to Shri Khand Mahadev, Kullu

Shri Khand Mahadev one of the pious places in Himachal is located at height of around 17550 feet. Distance to this sacred place in Himachal can be travelled with bus up to Shimla, Narkanda, Nogli, Rampur Bushar , Nirmand, Baglipul. From Baglipul distance up to historical village 'Jou' can be traversed by small vehicles.

From 'Jou' village at a distance of 3km base camp is in 'Singh Gad'.From 'Singh Gad' devotees have to cover the rest of distance to Shri Khand on foot. First stooping point to Shri Khand is located at 'Thachru' which is on the walk of 4 hours from 'Singh Gad'. Second stopping point of devotees to Shri Khand is at 'Bheem Dawar' which is also on the walking distance of 4 hours from 'Thacru'. After their offering to Shri Khand devotees can return back to 'Bheem Dawar' for the night stay.
