Vidhana soudha

this is a largest legislature cum secretariat building in the country and it is the cities best known land mark.Vidhana soudha not onlydoes it function has a bulding and for the government but over the years ait has given its lawns and lush surroundings to many peoples and tourists, to enjoy some quit time and leisure wh.when the light comes on after 7 PM it seems like little fireflies brighten one of the most dazzling spectres of architecture.K Hanumanthiah who was thw chief minister of mysuru(Karnataka) state from 1951 to 1956,will be long remembered in the annuals of karanataka history not only for his administration and achievements but for the fact that he was the inspiration for this magnificient building.

Vikasa soudha

It is near to vidhana soudha newly constructed ,the building has eight floors,a sprawling 6.45 lakh sq.feet floor area and 120 rooms.the idea was to remove in all government departments and directorates spread over the city into one building.

High court

it is located just opposite to Vidhana soudha.the high court of the karnataka state.it was established in 1884 under the Mysuru High court Act 1884;and was known as the mysuru high curt until 1973 when the name of the state is changed.

Cubbon park

Venkatappa Art gallery

It is near Cubbon park,a place of delight of for ART LOVERS, having about 600 paintings.this is named after a prestigious court painter SRI .k venkatappa who was born in 1887.the ground floor contains his paintings and the first floor contains the works of M.F.Hussain,Vasudev Hanumaih and other arists Opening timings 10:00 to 17:00 hours,except on wednesdays.
