Republic Day is going to be celebrated tomorrow on 26th Jan at the Parade Ground.

BBMP and Traffic Police have come out with strict guidelines on the traffic diversion and parking facilities this Republic day near Manekshaw Parade Ground

There are many cultural programmes to be organized during this event with about NCC, Seva Dal and 1500 students with many schools and colleges taking part in this event. All required steps have been taken place for any kinds casualty that may occur during the event, 1200 beds reserved, 26 CCTV installed and 23 door frame for the security check.

Traffic Diversion in Bengaluru

  • TRaffic will be diverted from 8:30 am to 10:30 am from BRV Junction to Kamaraj Road (KR Road) Junction (both directions) on Cubbon Road.

  • Vehicles coming from CTO circle towards Manipal Centre on Cubbon will take a left turn on Central Street at BRV Junction and then move to Central Street Junction to take a right turn to Safina Plaza, Infantry Road and left turn to enter the Main Guard Road toward Allies Circle, KR Road, Dickenson Road.

  • Vehicles take right turn to enter the KR Road to take left turn and enter the Cubbon Road to reach Manipal Center.

  • Vehicles coming from Manipal Center toward CTO Junction on Cubbon Road will have to take left turn at KR Road Junction to go towards Cauvery Art and Crafts Circle Junction on MG Road, take right turn to reach Anil Kumble Circle and Then another right turn to reach BRV Junction and turn left to reach CTO Circle.

  • Vehicles coming from Anil Kumble Circle towards Cubbon Park will go straight to Central Street Junction take right turn to enter Infantry Road and move towards Safina Road and take a left turn to enter the Main Guard Road then move towards Allies Circle, Dispensary Road, KR Road and Dickenson Road Junction.

  • For mototrists can take a right turn at KR Road Junction, turn left to reach Cubbon Park and then toward Manipal Centre Junction.

  • Vehicles coming from Cauvery Arts and Craft Circle on MG Road going towards Cubbon Park and KR Road Junction can go straight on MG Roads towards Anil Kumble Circle and take a right turn to reach BRV Junction, from where they have to take left turn to reach CTO Circle and further.

  • Parking Facility during the Republic day

  • Invitees with Yellow car passes will have to take Cubbon park Raod and enter the Gate no 1 facing northern side of Brigade Parade Grounds and park their vehicles on the western side of Parade Ground.

  • Invitess with White passes and secretaries of the Govt. officers of armed forced and police will have to use the Gate no 2 from Cubbon Road in front of the Military Supply Depot and park their vehicles on NE Side of the parking lot inside the Ground.

  • Those with pink passes will have to park their vehicles at BRV Police Parade ground and come to Parade Ground walking towards Gate No. 3.

  • Vehicles carry Participant passes to the function have to reach the venue through Gate No 3 and park their vehicles at fort wall inside Parade Ground.

  • Govt Vehicles of PWD, BBMP and other department have to enter Parade Ground from Gate No. 3 and park their vehicles behind the space for participant vehicles.

  • People on 2 wheelers should part their vehicles on Northern side of Kamaraja Road and enter through the Gate no 3 on Kamaraja Road.

  • Vehicles without passes should be parked at Kamaraja Road.

  • Items you should not carry with you

    For security concerns, Police will not allow and has requested every citizens for not carry mobiles phones, camera, radio, umbrella and other prohibited equipments to the Parade Ground

    Al invitees need to seated before 8:30 am. Flag hosting will be done at 9:00 am by Governor HR Bharadwaj.
