Traffic Diversion in Bengaluru on Independence Day Aug 15
With Bengaluru City and Government gearing up for the celebration of the 65th year of Independence day. There have been major security arrangements in and around the parade ground in the city. Police officials have also issue certain guidelines for the same.
With the citizens gearing up for the two major events in the coming two days:
1) 65th year celebration of Independence day on Aug 15.
2) Support to Anna Hazare for his movement of India Against Corruption which will being on Aug 16.
State Government and BBMP Commissioner have made all the major arrangements for the Independence day around the Maneckshaw parade ground in the city. They deployed around 10 DCP, 20 ACP, 40 Inspectors, 80 sub inspectors and 1000 constables with CCTV cameras and police moving around in civil uniform.

The will be parade held by NCC and school children after the flag hoisting. The cultural program will be around 1 hour long.
