Format Marks of PSI/STI/Assistant MPSC Exams

The PSI/STI/Assistant MPSC Exams Maharashtra have a slightly different format from the other MPSC Exams, such as those for Class I and Class II cadres MPSC Exams and those for various departments of the Govt. of Maharashtra. Format of Prelims Exams of PSI/STI/Assistant Exams
For the MPSC Prelims Exams, there is only 1 paper of 200 marks called the General Studies Paper. The format is multiple-choice type, meaning that you have to select one of 4 answer options. The topics include a wide variety of subjects covering history, geography, sports, current affairs, etc.
Total Marks of MPSC Prelims Exams: 300 marks
Important Note: You must be very sure of your answer as there is negative marking of 0.25 for a wrong answer.Format of Main Exams of MPSC of PSI/STI/Assistant Exams
1. Objective Type (0.25 negative marking is given for each wrong answer)
2. English (70 marks); Marathi (130 marks)
3. Intelligence Test (70 marks); General Studies (130 marks)
Total Marks = 400 Marks
On successfully passing the MPSC Main Exams, the candidate has to undergo a physical test for the post of PSI (200 marks). Non-PSI posts do not have any physical tests. There is also an interview, with 75 marks for PSI posts and 50 marks for STI posts.
Very Important Note: You should not make smudges and cancellations for both MPSC Prelims and MPSC Main Exams. If at all you decide to select another option from one already marked, then cancel out the entire first answer.
