Recruitment by Tata Consultancy Services.Tata Consultancy Services is one of the Software giants in the Indian Information Technology Industries. The Tata Consultancy Services have decided to recruit around 30000 candidates by this year end however Tata Consultancy Services have changed their mind and now decided to recruit around 50000 candidates in next few months. Around 50% of this recruitment drive will be done by Campus Interview method. This is great and welcome news for the Engineering students pursuing their final year studies.

During the end of September 2010, there were around 1.74 Lakh employees working for Tata Consultancy Services. However, due to continued patronage from its suppliers and fresh orders, the Tata Consultancy Services requires additional staff. It is pertinent to mention here that the business rival of Tata Consultancy Services viz., Infosys has also decided to increase its staff strength. The Attrition rate for Tata Consultancy Services has recently increased from 13.1% to 14.1%. This is also one of the main reasons for the considered additional induction / recruitment of staff by Tata Consultancy Services. Such mega recruitment news from the Software giants has created waves of job among all the Information Technology students.
