Maharashtra SSC board best five rule granted by Mumbai High Court on 18 August 2011
In 2010 Maharashtra SSC board started "best five rule" for calculating overall percentage result which will now granted by Mumbai High Court on 18 August 2011. This process will help Maharashtra SSC board student to get equal percentile with other state board and CBSE. Actually ICSE board student and parents had against this rule and they file case against Maharashtra SSC board and Mumbai High Court rejected this rule. After that State Government of Maharashtra and SSC board together appealed for reconsideration. Where the process of admission to eleventh (XI) was started hence Mumbai High Court given stay and allowed to admission on the basis of best five. In this situation main problem is solved by advocates of both party. In discussion they found the admission process was done a better way and no problem arises for ICSE students hence the Mumbai High Court on 18 August 2011 grant best five rule for Maharashtra SSC board.
