History of Chennai super kings


Chennai super kings, a part of Indian premier league, is a franchise cricket team based in Chennai. Chennai chepaulk is its home ground. India cements hold the franchise presently. V.b Chandra sekar a former opener for Indian team was the chief selector. Team captain is Mahendra sing dhoni. Team coach is Stephen fleming. The highest scorer till now is Suresh raina. Highest wicket taker is Muttiah muralitharan.

CSK team Record in tournament 2008


Chennai super kings played their first match against kings 11 punjab and scored 240/5 which was the highest total for the tournament. In 2010 they themselves surpassed their own record. They came third with 16 points and entered finals, but lost to rajasthan royals.

They came second with 17 points but could not enter finals. They lost against royal challengers in the semi final.
