On Wednesday 4.45 AM arrival at Rameswaram. Tourist will be Picked up to Hotel by taxi or Auto. After breakfast tourist will be taken over to Sightseeing places in Rameswaram and overnight stay at Rameswaram.Sightseeing places at Rameswaram - Ramanathaswamy Temple
Ramanathaswamy temple is located at island of Rameswaram. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. As per legent this temple is worshiped by Lord Rama after defeating Ravana who kidnapped Sita. To expiate the sin, Lord Rama wanted to worship Lord Shiva, since there was no shrine of Lord Shiva Rama asked Hanuman to bring an idol of Lord Shiva from Kailas. Hanuman went to take Shiva lingam from kailash, but it take very long time, at the same time Lord Rama awaited for hanuman for a long time and he decided to worship Lord Shiva by sand. When Sri Hanuman returned with the Kailash Lingam, he was irked that already a Lingam of sand had been installed. Hanuman got sorrow and he wants to remove that Lingam and tried but he could not. To make Hanuman cool down Lord Rama worshiped Kailash lingam near by the Sand Lingam. The Theerthams of this temple is very famous and everyone should see these Theerthams. Inside the temple corridor there are 22 Theerthams and Outside of the Temple there are 30 Theerthams. There is believe that, these holly Theerthams will reduce or cure our Sins, Poverty, Mental distress, Dhosam and give power to win asuras and bad elements in our life.
Sightseeing places at Rameswaram – Pamban Bridge
Pamban Bridge is first Sea Bridge in India and Second Longest Bridge in India at a length of 2.3 kms. This is a double leaf bascule bridge it opens to let ships pass under the bridge. This is very excellent to see. The railway bridge carried meter-gauge trains, now Indian Railway upgrade it in to broad-gauge in 2007.
Sightseeing places at Rameswaram - Five-faced Hanuman Temple
Five Faced Hanuman Temple is located 2 kms from Ramanatha samy temple. This temple is dedicated to the devotee of Rama, Sri Hanuman. The five faces of hanuman referred five different bodies, Lord Lord Narasimha, Lord Adivaraha, Lord Hayagriva and Lord Garuda and Lord Hanuman. The most remarkable feature of this temple is floating stones in a holly tank. The stones are in oval shaped and covered with tiny craters, which are floating in water. The idols of Lord Rama and Sita were rescued from the cyclone hit at Dhanushkodi in the year 1964 and worshiped in this temple. Sightseeing places at Rameswaram - Dhanuskodi
Dhanuskodi is a village located south side of Rameswaram. It is just 29 kms from Thalaimannar , a holy place for Hindu pilgrims. Dhanuskodi is a beautiful island; it was destroyed by a cyclone in 1964. But it still attracts tourist by its nature. Rameswaram Tour package – Day 3

Thirupullani as known as Dharbasayanam is one of the most famous vaishnava shrine. This shrine has reference in old tamil song sung by Thirumangai Alwar.This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and he called here as Adi Jaganatha Perumal. The Goddess is Padmasini Thayar. Thirupullani name has three parts Thiru – Pull –ani means Great bed made by Grass. As per legend once there are three Maharishs; Pullavar, Kalavar and Kannavar performed penance to see Lord Vishnu sitting on Darba Grass. Lord Vishnu gave darshna to them in the form of Arasu Tree, so they are very happy and they requested Lord Vishnu to show the original form. Lord Vishnu agreed their wish and appeared as Adi Jaganatha Perumal. Nagar Pooja is very famous in this temple, this pooja will be done by the devotees those who seeking child, should take dip in Sethu Theertha and do abishek for Nagar (which will given in temple).And they have fast for the whole day and have to stay night at temple. Next day early morning they should install the Nagar and have to take Prasad (Milk Prasatham), they will get child.Most important festivals in the temple are Ramanavami, Brammostavam in April, Vaikunda Ekadesi and Janmashtami.
