Programmes offered in Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre in Kumbakonam (off-campus centre of SASTRA recognized by Govt. of India)
B. Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, B. Ed., M. Ed., M. Sc., M. Phil and B. Tech. (CSE, ECE, EEE, IT) courses
SASTRA University offers degree programmes only in the above mentioned campuses and not in any other off-campus centre. Eligibility criteria for Sastra University admissions 2011
70% of the total seats for admission into B.Tech programmes will be filled based on the marks taken by the candidate in the qualifying +2 exam.
Eligibility for B.Tech Programmes
The candidates must have passed in the +2 examination with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects with either Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology from any recognized State Board / Central Board or any other equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology.
Eligibility for all PG programmes
The candidates are admitted based on the scores obtained in the qualifying UG / PG degree programme. The candidates who are qualified in GATE are given preference.
Eligibility for all other UG arts & science programmes
