There are total of 750 posts (UR-399, OBC-202, SC-142, ST-7, Exs-108, PH-23).
Out of these 750 posts, detailed separated list is as below:

Turner– 40 posts
Machinist– 57 posts
Welder– 178 posts
Instrument Mechanic– 5 posts
Furnace Operator– 12 posts
Electrician– 19 posts

Applicant's age must be equal or more than 27 years as on 1st April 2012.
For BHEL Fitter vacancies
Applicant must have passed Matric/SSLC examination and should have National Trade Certificate (NTC) with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the trade of Fitter/ Sheet Metal Worker.
Qualifications for Welder/Electrician/Turner/Machinist/ Instrument Mechanic vacancies in BHEL
