VIT entrance Exam result 2012


VIT entrance exam conducted on April 21 at 238 centers in Tamilnadu. Above 1.50 Lacs students applied for this entrance exam. Entrance exam for B.Tech Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Chemical, Bio - Technology, Bio - Informatics was conducted at Chennai Vellore Institute and B.Tech Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics were conducted on Vellore Institute, Vellore.

E-Exams were conducted in India, Dubai, Kuwait with 238 centers in 112 cities. 1 lakh 19 thousand 895 male students and 30 thousand 153 female students participated in examination. Rank 1 to 5000 - 14.5.2012
Rank 5001 to 9000 - 15.5.2012
Rank 9001 to 12000 - 16.5.2012
Rank 12001 to 15000 - 17.5.2012
Rank 15001 to 18000 - 18.5.2012
Rank 18001 to 20000 - 19.5.2012

Candidates who score top 50 ranks will be offered 75% in their fee. Students from Rank 50 to 100 will be offered 50% in their fee. More offers will be available for top scorers in VIT 2012.
