NKPK is a Tamil comedy movie. This movie is about "Marriage of a friend who suffers by short term memory loss was conducted by his three friends." Many new faces has appeared in this movie. Director wrote this plot from the real incidence that happened to the friend. I don't know surely but after the movie ends director itself speak about this.

"Next day night is engagement and day after tomorrow is marriage". Arrangements for Vijay Sethupathi marriage is going on. He goes to friend home to discuss about the marriage life. There "its boring shall we play cricket" says one of his friend. He along with his three friends goes to play cricket. There he loss his memory while attempting a catch.
His friends consults with doctor. Doctor's says he forget the things that happened on past one year and his disease will cure automatically after 1 or 2 days. Vijay Sethupathi's friend decids there shouldn't be any problem to his love marriage.

Then his disease get cures one day after marriage. He wake up and he says he need to get ready for his engagement. His friend says your are already married.

This movie remembers me the Hollywood movie "Hangover". But NKPK story is completely different from that. Actors performance was good. Even side artist delivered good performance. This is a fully entertainment movie. Hero repeatedly says same dialogue created some hate towards this movie. But without this repeated dialogue logic will not be great. Like other movie director didn't bored us by introducing love scenes.
Director can reduced the length of some the scenes like cricket, engagement part, marriage function. Those scenes bored a little bit. Apart from them other scenes are really humourous.
