Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University TANUVAS is inviting applications forms form eligible candidates for 66 faculty posts. Candidates who are interested can apply through prescribed application format. Selection can be done on the basis of performance in written exam/ interview.

TANUVAS assistant professor job details 2013
Scale of pay- Assistant Professor (Stage 1): Rs.15600-39100 + Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/- Eligibility criteria-
Candidate should have good academic record with at least 55% of marks at the Master's Degree level in a relevant / concerned subject.
Apart form master degree, the candidates should possess the basic degree of B.V.Sc. / B.V.Sc. & AH in the Veterinary and Animal Sciences Faculty posts.
If the candidate have masters degree, he/she should clear National Eligibility Test (NET). but in case of Phd degree holders NET is waived off.
NET shall not be required for such Masters Programme in disciplines for which NET is not conducted.

Scale of pay- Assistant Professor (Stage 1): Rs.15600-39100 + Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/- Eligibility criteria-
Candidate should have a masters degree in library science or information science or documentation science or an equivalent professional degree.
They should have at least 55% marks in the above mentioned degree.
They should have good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
Candidate should have qualified in the National Eligibility Test, and for Ph.D. degree holders NET is wavied.
