Four new Wildlife Sanctuaries in Tamil Nadu

The Chief Minister today (Thu 02 May 2013) announced a set of 4 new wildlife sanctuaries will soon opened in Tamil Nadu. She published this news in legislative assembly under the rule 110. There are currently 10 wildlife sanctuaries in Tamil Nadu. Wild life officials had taken a survey about most wildlife prevalence area in Tamil Nadu, four areas were selected to construct new wildlife sanctuary. Below are the details about upcoming wildlife sanctuaries in Tamil Nadu.
1. Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri area - Kaveri wildlife sanctuary
2. Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli - Pulliman species Sanctuary
3. Nagapattinam, Thanjavur and Thiruvarur - Kotiyakkarai wildlife sanctuary
4. Dindukkal, Theni - Kodaikanal wildlife sanctuary
The above are the four sanctuaries to be constructed in TN. To build the eco system of Tamil Nadu chief minister J.Jayalalitha has taken this steps. Under TN eco system plan 2 crore trees will be grown and this project cost is estimated as 97 crore and 66 lakh. Many forest will be maintained under "Kaadu valarpom thittam".
Many projects regarding forest, eco-system will be soon executed in Tamil Nadu.
