Alagappa University is inviting application forms from eligible candidates for the posts of junior research fellow in DBT-Twin supported project entitled "Structural and Functional Studies of Translation Initiation Factors from Pyrococcus horikoshii 0T3". Candidates who are interested can attend interview at the department of Bioinformatics Alagappa University Science Block.

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow- One
Duration: 3 Years
Walk in interview: 31.05.2013
Venue: Department of Bioinformatics, Alagappa University
Fellowship:
  • Selected candidates will get monthly fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- + HRA for the 1st two years as JRF and Rs. 18,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year.
  • But candidates should have qualified NET/BET/GATE/BINC.
  • If not candidate will get a monthly fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- + HRA for the 1st two years for JRF and Rs. 14,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year for SRF.
Eligibility criteria: Candidates should have a PG Degree in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Biophysics / Biochemistry / Life Sciences with atleast 55% marks in the PG examinations.
Research Experience: Candidates will be given preference if they have experience in wet lab techniques related to molecular biology.
