Madurai Kamaraj University MSc biotechnology & MSc chemistry admission notification 2013-2014

Madurai Kamaraj University is inviting application forms from eligible candidates for the admission to MSc Biotechnology & MSc Chemistry courses for the academic year 2013-2014. Mentioned courses are offered by the PG extension center of Madurai Kamaraj University at Virudhunagar. Candidates will be selected by the rules and regulations of Tamilnadu Government. Selected candidates will be intimated individually by post. Tution fees for both courses for first year is Rs. 6,685/- and for second year is - 5,545

Eligibility criteria

MSc Bio- Technology

Candidates should have studied under 10+2+3 or 10+3+2 or 10+2+4 pattern.
Candidates should have passed in BSc in any of the subjected mentioned. Physics or Chemistry or Zoology or Botany or Biotechnology or Energy and Environmental Science or Agri or Veter or MBBS or BDS or BE or B.Tech or Nanoscience or Nanotechnology or Material Engg or Chemical Engg or Biotechnology.
They should have scored atleast 55% of aggregate marks.
Good scoring in science at +2 level is a must.

MSc Chemistry

Candidates should have studied under 10+2+3 or 10+3+2 or 10+2+4 pattern.
Candidate should have passed in BSc Chemistry or Special Chemistry or Applied Chemistry degree.
They should have studied Physics as one of the subject.
55% of aggregate marks is must.
