Bhabapagla, the Spiritual Guru, born in the year 1902 at Amta village, Dacca in Bangladesh. Though he attended only primary level in school, his literary creations need deep in depth knowledge and sensitivity to understand.

He was a complete family man with wife Smt Saibalini Devi and three children. After partition of India, he came to Ambika Kalna and lived there for the rest of his life.

He created more than 10000 songs (devotional) in his life relating to human consciousness. He composed most of his songs also. In Bengali devotional songs there is a separate identity of Bhaba Pagla Sangeet.

He was follower of Goddess Kali. He founded many temples in different parts of west Bengal.
