Birla Industrial and Technological Museum is located on the Gurusaday Road and it is a museum of many interesting facts, shows events and different kinds of activities which is a good attraction for Students' visit in Kolkata.

Birla Planetarium is the one of the oldest planetarium of India is really a very good place. The instruments of this planetarium is imported from East Germany and is the only planetarium in India having such an advanced kind of technology. This planetarium is the Largest planetarium of South East Asia and the Second largest Planetarium of the world.

Eden Gardens is located in the North part of the Maidans, and is a cricket stadium. It is a venue for the international cricket matches and this stadium has one of the largest sitting capacities stadiums.

Nicco Park is the disney land for Kolkata. There are lots of joyful rides in this Park and it is very much enjoyable by the children as well as the young ones. The park is one of the biggest amusement park in the country. It draws crowd from the sub urban Kolkata and especially in the weekends or during the holidays.

The Kalighat Temple is a temple in Kolkata of Maa Kali and this temple is visited by a large number of people every day. This is a religious place and is very much well known among the Bengalis living in Kolkata. People from outside also come to visit this place.

Victoria Memorial is one of the most important land mark of the city. The monument is made up of marble and was build in 1921 during the British rule. Now it is a museum and this is a must place to visit in Kolkata whenever you visit Kolkata.
