Place of birth of Rabindranath Tagore is is Kolkata.
Rabindrabnnath Tagore was an excellent poet, writer, artist and had many qualities in him. He was born with inbuilt talent and was a super human being. His poets were fantastic in Nature and he used to convey his message to the other Bengalis through the means of his poetry when India was fighting for the Independence or freedom against British. He was a great human being who tried to bring many kind of changes in the educational system and fortunately he did that too. He built a school at Shantiniketan which was of totally his mentality associating all the cultural education as well as scientific knowledge. This is what Rabindranath did by combining the cultural and social education with the common education for the children. This helped the children to learn proper behavior and manners in his school and this was the first school introduced by Rabindranath Tagore in Bengal which had so many facilities.

Rabindranath Tagore died on 7 August 1941 at Shantiniketan in West Bengal. At that time he was too old and had many pains inside his heart as he was not happy with what was happening with the country, as British tortured the Indians.

Rabindranath was a respected man and he was never insulted or said anything by any person in the world and even the British people respected Rabindranath Tagore a lot.
