Mtech Admissions is open in Jalpaiguri Goverment Engineering College for the year 2011-12. Applications are invited from eligible candidates.
One of the premier engineering colleges of North Bengal. The college is located in Jalpaiguri Town which is the divisional Headquarters of North bengal. Established in the year 1961, It offers both B.Tech and M.Tech courses. There are six streams in B.Tech and two streams in M.Tech. The six streams of B.tech are Civil Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Computer Science and Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology.
The two streams in M.Tech are Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Its a two year (4-Semester) course. The courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and the same are affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).
