The temple structure is marvellopus with many art and sculptures in and around the temple and inside the place you can see the devotees chanting Hare Krishna Hare Rama singing and dancing just like anything. Mayapur by air - The nearest airport to Mayapur is at Kolkata, Dum-Dum airport and yo can get a taxi to reach Mayapur from this place. The distance of Dum-Dum airport from Mayapur is approximately 120 km. You will be charged around Rs 1400 from the airport to reach Mayapur from Taxi.
Mayapur by train- There is no particular railway station at Mayapur. One can travel till Burdwan, which is the nearest station to Mayapur. The Burdwan junction is well connected via regular trains to many important cities of the city as well as the country. From Burdwan one can get a Taxi to reach Mayapur and you can also select the option of bus.
Mayapur by Bus- Mayapur is well connected to the other parts of the state via buses. There are regular buses which leave to and from Mayapur travelling lots of Passengers and it is the cheapest way too to travel to Mayapur. Mayapur has tropical wet and dry climate. The three main seasons of Mayapur are Summers, Monsoons and winters.
Summers are from March to May and the temperature during the summers varies from 30 degree Celsius to 42 degree Celsius.
Monsoons are from June to September and most of the annual rainfall is received during these months only. It presents a refreshing look of the place with enjoyable scenic beauties and landscape beauties. 
The winters are from December to February and the climatic conditions during this period of the year is really coll as the temperature falls to 7 degree Celsius during this season.
The best season to visit Mayapur is from October to March and if you are planning for short trips then June to September is also fine. Events and festivals in Mayapur
The month of October and November is the best festive season in Mayapur as there is a nine days festival of Navaratri which is celebrated with lots of fun by the tourists as well as the people living there. The Kali Puja is also a important festival celebrated during these months in Mayapur.
The Holi celebrations take place during February March and the Janmastmi is also there during the month of August.
