Fish Cutlets: In your Microwave


A healthy alternative to the regular deep fried cutlet, these delicately flavoured cutlets make a very bright meal served with lettuce, tomatoes and fries. This Fish Cutlet is practically Baked in Microwave + Grill option not fried. So lesser calories, Healthy and tasty too.

A healthy alternative to the regular deep fried cutlet, these delicately flavoured cutlets make a very bright meal served with lettuce, tomatoes and fries.
Ingredients required for Fish Cutlet:
250 grms Bhekti fillets
1 teaspoon green chopped chilies
2 tablespoons chopped coriander
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1/2 teaspoon cumin (jeera) powder
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste

Procedure to make Fish Cutlet:
First take a Microwave safe bowl and add 1/2 cup water, fish fillet and a pinch of salt and Microwave them in High for 8 minutes. Remove and drain the water and mash the fish using a fork or with the back of a spoon. Add the green chilies, chopped coriander, ginger paste, cumin powder, bread crumbs, egg and salt mix them well.

Divide the mixture into 8 portions and shape each into a flat shape.

Please take a Microwave Crusty Plate and grease with the oil and using Microwave + Grill option preheat for 3 minutes at 220 degree centigrade temperature. Place the cutlets into the preheated Crusty Plate and bake them for 10 minutes in Microwave + Grill option at 220 degree centigrade temperature. Please turn the culets over after 5 minutes.

Please serve them hot with tomato ketchup.

Cooking time: 21 minutes
