West Bengal government circulate notice on reservation for poor children in all private school
India government implement started compulsory free education for poor children act-2009. Now the west Bengal government circulate the notice to all private schools "Reservation for all poor children" .From now each private school must reserve 25% of total strength of a particular class from standard I for backward classes.All guardians who are below poverty line and belong to any backward class must submit their prove Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/BPL card etc.) attach with the admission form.
Reservation for poor people even in private school
India government implement started compulsory free education for poor children act-2009. On the basis of that act west Bengal government circulate notice "not to give physical and mental punishment to the students". Now the west Bengal government circulate the historical notice to all private schools "Reservation for all poor children" on the basis of the Education Act-2009. Percentage of reservation in private school on each category declared by West Bengal government
From now each private school must reserve 25% of total strength of a particular class from standard I for backward classes.
Now the division of 25% as follows:-
Scheduled Caste- 22%
Schedule Tribe- 6%
Other backward class-A-> 10%
Other backward class-B-> 07%
Other backward class(weak)-> 55%
If the school is Co-Educational then 50% reservation must for girls.Instruction to the private school for reservation in west Bengal
i) School authority must declare a notice for reservation at the beginning of each education session.
ii) If the total backward application forms cross 25% limitation then the school authority must give priority to those who are belong below poverty line.
iii) Each year all private school's authority must submit the reservation report to the district school inspector.
iv) If required then school authority must buy school dress and books for all students below poverty line and they submit the bill to the school inspector. Later west Bengal government pay all amount to the school.
v) School authority cannot take any interview to the students or their guardians at the time of admission. All student get admission on lottery basis.
vi) Annual fees must be declared at the beginning of the session and cannot be change at the middle of the session at any circumstances. Instruction to the guardians for reservation in west Bengal
All guardians who are below poverty line and belong to any backward class must submit their prove certificate(SC/ST/OBC/BPL card etc.) attach with the admission form. With out any certificate they cannot demand for any types of facilities.
