West Bengal school teachers get their salary on 1st working day of each month
Left front government of west Bengal gave the salary of school teacher after 10th of each month. For this reason most of the school teachers face their problem in each month.Within five days in power of west Bengal miss Mamtaa Banerjee the chief minister of West Bengal take a great decision. She announced that all school teachers including para teachers, part time teachers and all school staffs will get their salary at the 1st working day of each month and this will effect from july 2011.
Introduction about salary problem of west Bengal school teacher
Left front government of west Bengal gave the salary of school teacher after 10th of each month. For this reason most of the school teachers face their problem in each month. To solve their problem they take loan from local broker at high rate of interest and when they got their salary much of it goes to loan payment. To overcome this all teachers association appeal to Left Front government several times but the concerned minister of chief minister never heard them.
In 1977 when Left Front came in power they increase the salary of school teacher and this increment solid the base of left front government. All government aided teachers salary and pension are given by west Bengal government but the teachers never get their salary at the first day of the month. Left front government release the salary bill on 5th day and there after most of the school teachers get their salary near about 15 to 20th of the month. Besides these left front government always told that they only do for school teachers which indicate that all teachers are beggar and teacher begging in front of CP(I)M leaders. Even in before the assembly election of 2011 Buddhadev Bhattcharya told that teacher should caste their vote in favor of CP(I)M because they give them salary. What does it means? Teacher do nothing and CP(I)M thought that they are beggar who were begging for salary in front of them.
Steps taken by new west Bengal government headed by Mamtaa Banerjee- The chief minister of West Bengal
Within five days Trinamool congress come in power of west Bengal and Miss Mamtaa Banerjee the chief minister of West Bengal take a great decision. She announced that all school teachers including para teachers, part time teachers and all school staffs will get their salary at the 1st working day of each month and this will effect from July 2011. Not only this Trinomool government also declared that all school teachers get their salary form nationalized bank from September 2011.
All unions from Left to Right congratulate her for this great decision. It is proved that if there is a will there is a way.
