IBPS has released advertisements for IBPS Recruitments for Clerical Staff. IBPS is an autonomous body conducting common written examination (CWE) for 19 public sector banks.

19.Indian BankDetails of IBPS examination for Recruitments of Clerical Staff
Clerical Staff Requirements:-
(a) Age as on 31.03.2011: 18 yrs. minimum / 28 yrs. maximum
(b) Educational Qualifications: A graduate Degree in any discipline from a UGC recognized University Or Pass with 50% marks in HSC examination from a recognized board Or 60% marks in SSC/ 10th standard examination from a recognized board.
(d) Should be able to read, write and speak official language of the state applied for.
Selection Procedure : IBPS CWE is only a written examination. IBPS will provide a score card to the candidates clear the examination. In the basis of score card ranking candidates may apply to the above 19 public sector banks separately. The Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted twice in a year. Candidates can take part 2nd examination to improve their score. As clerical vacancies are state wise candidates should have proficiency in the local language of the state applied for.
Application Fees: Candidates have to pay Rs 350/- (for general &OBC) and Rs 50/- (for SC, ST, PWD & EXSM) through payment challan available in the banks site payable from 24.08.2011 to 23.092011.
