Mamata Banerjee may think of Banning Badhs in West Bengal.
Mamata Banerjee said at Writer's building that : "I will not call a bandh myself, neither would I allow anyone to call a bandh. If necessary we will bring a new law for this. The culture of bandhs cannot go on as it leaves a negative impact on the economy of the state"
She also added "They think they can call a bandh every now and then as they are not in power. This cannot go on,"
Mamata Banerjee strictly opposes this theory of Bandh. Earlier also CM Budhadeb Bhattacharjee had mentioned that he is not supporting this all kinds of strikes. Strikes in West Bengal became very common and the largest number of Bandhs were called in West Bengal only. Mamata Banerjee can change this thing just by passing a law of banning bandhs.
According to Mamata Banerjee, there may be political problems or problem relating to many things in the state but she thinks that these problems could be solved by a meeting or any other peaceful ways nor by calling bandhs.
The Greatest affect of political Bandhs goes on the common people. According to Mamata Banerjee, our CM she does not want the common people to bbe harmed of due to the political reasons.
If these kind of law will be passed in our state then there will be a great advantage for and will also help in maintaining the regularity of our state.
Mamata Banerjee said in a meeting : "Our party has not organised any bandhs and strikes in the past three years. I personally feel that such means of protest yields nothing. Even though our party had resorted to such practices in the past, these days we are not going for such forms of agitation."
