Positions available at The West Bengal University of Juridical Science. The following vacant posts are available:
1)Professor (Law): Number of positions available: 2.
Payscale: 37000-67000/-Academic Grade Pay=Rs.10000 .
Requirements: The applicant should be a Ph.D in law with at least 10 years of experience in University or College or 15 years of teaching or research experience with an outstanding contribution. The candidate should specialise in Public Law, Corporate Laws, Taxation, Criminal Law and Family Law.
2)Associate Professor (Law): Number of positions: 1.
Payscale: 15600-39100/-Academic Grade Pay=Rs.6000/.
The applicant should have good academic record with 55% marks or equivalent at the Master's degree level from a recognised Indian or Foreign University. The candidate should have cleared UGC's NET for lecturers or any equivalent at the time of application. Applicant with one year of teaching or research experience at a recognised University or College is preferrable.
3)Associate Professor (Public Policy and Governance): Number of positions available : 1:
Payscale: 37000-67000/-Academic Grade Pay=Rs.9000/-
Requirements: The candidate should have an excellent academic record with 55% marks or equivalent at the Master's Degree level and have a Ph.D in Public policy and Governance/ Public Administration/Public Policy/Law/Social Sciences. The applicant should have at least 8 years of teaching or research experience in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution.
