West Bengal government announces a student scholarship program for economically backward meritorious students for 2012-13 academic sessions. Students can apply for scholarship after passing Madhyamik, Higher Secondary or Graduate level examination. West Bengal government are giving Merit-Cum-Means scholarship 2012-13 in various levels like Higher Secondary (HS), Polytechnic Diploma Engineering, Graduate and Post Graduate levels.
Merit-Cum-Means scholarship 2012-13 for Higher Secondary (HS) students
Students studying in class 11 can apply. Candidates should have pass Madhyamik this year with minimum 75% marks for applying. Marks will be calculated excluding the optional subject marks. Scholarship amount for Higher Secondary level is Rs 500/- P.M.
Merit-Cum-Means scholarship 2012-13 for Polytechnic Diploma students
Students studying in Polytechnic Diploma Engineering after passing madhyamik this year can apply. Candidates should have pass Madhyamik this year with minimum 75% marks for applying. Marks will be calculated excluding the optional subject marks. Scholarship amount for Polytechnic Diploma level is Rs 750/- P.M.
Merit-Cum-Means scholarship 2012-13 for Under Graduate students
Students of 1st year Graduate level passing HS with minimum 75% marks can apply. Marks should be calculated with two language subjects and other three best elective subject's scores. Engineering, Technology, Nursing and 1st year Graduate level doctors can also apply. Scholarship amount for Under Graduate level is Rs 750-1500 P.M.
Merit-Cum-Means scholarship 2012-13 for Post Graduate students
Arts, Commerce and Science 1st year post graduate level students passing Honors Graduate with 55% marks can apply. Scholarship amount for Post Graduate level is Rs 1200-1400 P.M.Application Process for Merit-Cum-Means scholarship program of West Bengal government
