Guest Posts: Articles with links to external websites

In this post, I will discuss the rules regarding guest posting with backlinks to other websites.

We do accept guest posts in our website but under strict guidelines. We understand most people want to publish guest articles with the goal of promoting their own business or website directly or indirectly. However, in order to maintain our reputation and ethical publishing practices, we do follow certain policies.

If you are planning to send us a guest article, please make sure you read these guidelines in full and understand what exactly are we looking for. Generally, more than 50% of the guest articles sent to us are rejected by our editorial team since they don't comply with our policies mentioned here.

Here are the general guidelines for guest posts, however, guest articles with links to other websites may be accepted at the discretion of the editors and webmasters.

1. Each guest article should be minimum 1,500 words. Only 1 link is allowed to the website of your interest. We/you may include other links to other authentic websites for external references. We may add additional links in the article.

2. Guest articles should contain images or screenshots that are never published anywhere else before and those images should not be published anywhere else in future also. We do not allow images from any other sources including Google, Wikipedia, Instagram or any other free image collections. We can't accept images that are from your own gallery unless they are exclusive to us.

3. Guest articles will not eligible for any rewards from this site including cash credits for the article, AdSense revenue share and contest prizes. If you have received any rewards in the past, you cannot use the same account to create articles with links to websites you are associated with.

4. We allow links from the articles to only other reputed sites and relevant to the content of the article. Excessively keyword optimized articles and links are not allowed.

5. Links to sites that violate any AdSense policies are not allowed. This include links to Casino sites, Gambling sites, Porn sites, pages that promote violence, pornography or adult content. Links to sites that violate general webmaster good practices are not allowed.

6. We reserve the rights to delete an article at a later stage, if it fails to add any value to our site and fail to fetch any organic traffic. We will re-check guest articles after few weeks to see how it performs in search engines and how much traffic it gets. If it fail to get any traffic, it may be deleted. Also, if we find that the article is negatively affecting our site in any manner, we may delete it.

7. Guest articles should be of topics that really add some value. We do not accept articles on very common topics that are covered in hundreds of other websites. Typically, articles that contain personal experience with step by step screenshots have the lowest chance of rejection by our editorial team.

8. Articles prepared by SEO guys and content writers who mass produce articles are rejected quickly.

If you are sending guest articles, please clearly state your goals from the article.

Also, if you are active member of this site, read about posting limited number of promotional content without losing your other rewards/benefits.
