  11. Explain the concept of welfare state. What are the main functions of welfare state?
  12. "The history of all hitherto society is the history of class struggle." Discuss critically the above statement
  13. Define the equality. Discuss the social and economic dimensions of equality.

Civics Paper II for High School Teacher
  1. Explain and examine the constitutional signification of Preamble to the Indian constitution.
  2. What are the different between fundamental right and directive principles of state policy?
  3. Discuss the nature and signification of and directive principles of state policy?
  4. How is the president of India elected? Discuss his emergency powers.
  5. Describe the composition of the Lok sabha. Compare its powers with these of Rajya Sabha.
  6. How is the governor of an Indian state appointed? Why is he nominated?
  7. What are the powers and functions of a chief minister of state?
  8. Critically examine the composition, powers and function of Legislative Assembly of a state.
  9. Describe the jurisdiction of the supreme court of India.
  10. Examine the composition and function of Election commission of India.
