Om Shivpuri was borned on 1937 and he was a theater actor as well as director. He has also acted in many Hindi films. He was playing his character so nicely that he has got many awards for this. Unfortunately Rajasthani Actor Om Shivpuri died on 15th October 1990. He has two children named Ritu Shivpuri and Vineet Shivpuri. He has contributed more than 35 years to film industry. Om Shivpuri was not engaged with Film industry first. He started his career from Jaipur radio Station as anchor. In that time period he met Sudha Shivpuri who was working in the radio station. In this working period they loved each other and Sudha Shivpuri became the wife of Om Shivpuri. Their marriage year is 1968.

Before marriage to Sudha Shivpuri, both have joined National School of Drama of New Delhi for acting course. later, Mr Om Shivpuri became the first chief of National School of Drama of New Delhi. After than he also founded a theatre group in New Delhi called Dishantar. With Dishantar theatre group Mr Shivpuri has visited many places and he also acted and directed in many plays of Dishantar group. Some of his plays are:-Shantata!Court Chalu Aahe, Khamosh! Adalat Jari Hai, Aadhe Adhure etc.

Om Shivpuri started his career with a film of Mani kaul named Ashadh Ka Ek Din. It was released on 1972. After 2 years he came Mumbai and worked there for 20 years and in this period he acted in more than 170 Hindi films. Best Films of Om Shivpuri are:-

Its a five days festival and it falls on the death date of Om Shivpuri means it is 16th October. In this 16th October 1990 he died in a hart attack but his acted films are not mortal. They are also entertaining the viewers now.
