In this article I have explain about the delicious food of Odisha. the daily foods of Odiya, the veg and nonveg food, the varities of sweets, the rare food like Kora and Khai, the Mahaprasad of jagannath temple, the varities of cakes, the servings of food during social functions and the popular tea and coffee drinks of Odisha.

The food of Odisha is very delicious. The meals are imaginative and offer varieties. Boiled rice, rawrice(Arua), fried pulao, watered rice(gruel rice), dal, curry and curd etc are main daily dishes of Odiya people. Breeding fish, carb shrimp, lobster, silver fish, khanga, minnow and all kinds of salted fishes include the non-vegetarian food. The Odiya people would like their fish tried in mustard oil. Fish is also curried with curd and spices. They are very palatable dishes and offer a new tangy taste. Crabs from Chilika lakes are fleshy and delicious. Mutton, Chiken and eggs are often the best substitute.
Green vegetables are available in plenty throughout the state.

All varieties of pumpkins, brinjal cabbage, patato and large choice of Europeans vegetables are chief vegetarian foods of Odisha. Sweet like cheese, Rasagulla, Rasmalai, Peda, chhenapoda, Ballashayed sweets and Lolley toffee are delicious food. Many kinds of snaks, sagan plum (kora) and fried rice (khai) are also famous in Jagannath at Puri which serves to nearly tenthousand peple everyday.

Now most of the temples of Odisha serves Prasad i.e. Kanika or Khechudi, dal, Besara or Mahura, Ambila, Sakara and Payas etc to the devotee. Apart from these various types of cakes i.e. Chittau, Manda, Arisha, Kakara, are available in Odia society.

Recently the young generation prefer to enjoy Chinese dishes i.e. Chowmeen, eggroll. Egg chop, chicken pakoda, tandoor mutton and chicken, soup and peeza etc.

During marriage ceremony, birthday party, thread ceremony and other social functions Odiya people preferto serve food through Buffy system. In otherwardsit is called as standing culture, this culture is derived from foreign culture.

Tea and coffee are popular drinks in Odisha. Green coconut water is available throughout the coastal area. Mangoes, Pineapples and jack-fruits are found in summer season
